Salt Spring Aikido is a non-profit organization. Dojo fees may change to ensure sustainability of the dojo. Adult practitioners must pay a yearly $65 fee to the Canadian Aikido / BC Aikido Federations to become members and cover insurance fees (Youth pay $30). Finances should not be a barrier to practicing aikido. If you're a student or currently unemployed, let's explore options to make it accessible for you to train.

"Aikido is not an art to fight with enemies and defeat them. It is a way to lead all human beings to live in harmony with each other as though everyone were one family."

- Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido
